ORDER

Though the writ petition is filed for issuing a direction to the second respondent to give promotion to the petitioner to the post of Deputy Block Development Officer with effect from 01.12.2012 and to pay all other consequential benefits, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 25.07.2018 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a stipulated time.

2.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any merits of the petitioner's case in the appeal which is pending before the first respondent, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

"The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 25.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving adequate opportunity of hearing to the petitioner."
