ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd Respondent Police appropriate action against the 4th Respondent on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner to the respondents 1 to 3 dated 22.01.2026.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 4th respondent was employed by the petitioner to take care of his business accounts and he is liable for reporting the Debit and credit of the previous month to the petitioner by 10th of every month. However, the 4th respondent suddenly stopped coming to the office and when the petitioner had checked the accounts on November 2025, he understood that the 4th respondent had misappropriated an amount of Rs.3,56,231/-. In this regard, that the petitioner had given a complaint against the 4th respondent for which CSR No.838 of 2025 was issued on 20.11.2025 by 2/5
the third respondent police. However, there is no progress in the investigation and hence this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that after receiving the complaint the respondent police has conducted enquiry and it is found that the private respondents were already absconded.
4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. Recording the rival submissions made by the respective parties and that the ongoing enquiry is pending the 3rd respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry as expeditiously as possible within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and further directed to appraise the progress in the investigation to the first respondent every Friday. The first respondent is directed to monitor the ongoing Investigation and kto ensure proper investigation is done. 3/5
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is dispoed of. No costs.
