JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by J.NISHA BANU, J.) The present Writ Appeal is directed against the order passed by the Writ Court dated 23.09.2024 made in W.P(MD)No.22547 of 2024. 2.The first respondent/writ petitioner filed the Writ Petition for a direction directing the appellants 1 and 2 herein to pay the arrears of monetary benefits with effect from 01.08.2018 for Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) promotion awarded to the writ petitioner by implementing the order passed by the second appellant, vide proceedings dated 11.01.2024. 3.The writ Court, by order dated 23.09.2024, disposed of the Writ Petition directing the second appellant to implement the order, dated 11.01.2024, 2/6

within a period of twelve weeks. Challenging the same, the respondents 1 and 2 as appellants have preferred the Writ Appeal. 4.Heard Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the appellants and Mr.H.Mohammed Imran, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials placed before this Court.

5.On perusal of the materials available on record, it is seen that the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) benefits were conferred upon the writ petitioner with effect from 07.12.2017 and the monetary benefits with effect from 01.08.2018 by the proceedings of the second respondent in RC.No.7986/A2/2023-4, dated 11.01.2024 and the writ Court has rightly directed the second respondent to implement the order dated 11.01.2024. Hence, we are not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the writ Court, dated 23.09.2024.

6.Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. The second appellant is directed to disburse the same to the writ petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
