This writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10.07.2015.
2. There is no representation for the petitioner.
3. The petitioner is a deserted woman living with her son with the help of her brother. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Sub Inspector of Police one Nesamony attached to Kulasekarapattinam Police Station, in the year 2015, had called the petitioner and intimidated that he would foist a case against her son, who was studying 11th standard and demanded a sum of Rs.30,000/- for deleting his name from the complaint. names have been omitted from the complaint and a case was registered against her son in Crime No.129 of 2015 and the said Sub Inspector of Police Nesamony was in the habit of doing such a manner and the petitioner had sought for the indulgence of the higher officials, the respondents herein to look into her representation and to act upon it.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.07.2015, has been duly registered by the third respondent in R.C.182/15/Police/TK, on 05.10.2015 and after conducting a detailed enquiry, the third respondent has referred the same to the fourth respondent Department to conduct a departmental proceedings. The concerned Sub Inspector of Police was retired on 30.07.2015 and the departmental proceedings has also been initiated as against the concerned officer Nesamaoy, the then Inspector of Police by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tirunelveli Range in C.No.C1/2950/18, on 10.11.2018 under Rule 9 of the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1955. In the departmental proceedings, six witnesses have been examined and the matter is still pending.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar ( ) // True Copy // Sub Assistant Registrar() To
