This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned order passed by the respondent in CA/5/Academic and Appl.100 dated 25.06.2015 and for consequential direction to the respondent to grant approval to the Bachelor of Architecture Course to the petitioner University, for the academic year 2015-2016.
2. By consent the Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, limiting his argument, would submit that only
objection raised in the impugned order is that the Head of the Institution is not identified and along with the said deficiency, there has been a direction for introduction of 5 year full-time Bachelor of Architecture degree course for the academic session 2016-2017 after removing deficiencies in terms of Minimum Standards prescribed by the Council and making necessary arrangements and facilities for introduction of five year fulltime Bachelor of Architecture Course. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner institute has appointed suitable and efficient faculty members.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also brought to notice of this Court the list of the faculty members and that has been enclosed in his representation placed before the respondent. He would further submit that Mr.B.Aravind was appointed as the Director of the Institution. Therefore, on this basis he prays that if a direction is given to the respondent, the Registrar, Council of Architecture, Delhi to consider the latest representation, that would serve the purpose.
6. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the following direction is issued: "As and when the petitioner Institute presents a detailed representation making it clear that they have identified the head of the department, the respondent herein-the Registrar, Council of Architecture, Delhi is directed to consider the case of the petitioner on the basis of the representation on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order".
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P. is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CO) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar.
