Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 18.03.2012 with regard to cancellation of fraudulent registration and launching of prosecution as per the provision laid down by the Registration Act.

ORDER

The Writ petition has been filed seeking an order in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 18.03.2012 with regard to cancellation of fraudulent registration and launching of prosecution as per the provision laid down by the Registration Act.

2.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents may be directed to conduct enquiry based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 18.03.2012 in the light of Circular 67, dated 03.11.2011 within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the enquiry will be conducted in accordance with law.

5.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 18.03.2012, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of Circular 67, dated 03.11.2011 within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
