O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the second respondent to register a case, based on his complaint, dated 31.12.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. On reading of the complaint, dated 31.12.2015, it is seen that the petitioner had given loan of Rs.3,00,000/- to the opposite party and in respect of which, a cheque bouncing case, in S.T.C.No.123 of 2015, is also pending before the leaned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul.

4.In the light of the above, since the dispute between the petitioner and the opposite party is essentially civil in nature, no positive direction can be given to the respondent Police to register a case. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
