ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.09.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 4 (8)(aa), 4(1-A) of T.N.P.Act and under Section 8(c) read with 20(b) (ii)(B) of N.D.P.S. Act, 1985, in crime No.600 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was in possession of contraband of Canobinid and he was arrested and 1.500 kg and 50 litre of arrack were recovered from the petitioner and hence, the case has been registered.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is pending.
5.Considering the fact and circumstances of the case and considering the period of incarceration by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, subject to the following conditions; (i)the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Sessions Judge, E.C.Act, Cases, Thanjavur District;
(ii) the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
