The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal petition filed under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, dated 15.04.2014, within the stipulated period fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Rajaraman For Respondents : Mrs.S.Bharathi, G.A.

ORDER

The Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal petition filed under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, dated 15.04.2014, within a time frame. 2.Mrs.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice of the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal dated 15.04.2014 of the petitioner, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the appeal of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, dated 15.04.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing sufficient opportunity to the petitioner and also to the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
