Common Prayer: Petitions filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Shenkottai to dispose of the suits in O.S.No.104 of 2018 and O.S.No.93 of 2018 as early as possible. ORDER:- These Civil Revision Petitions are coming on for orders on this day under the caption "Extension of time for Lower Court" and upon perusing earlier order of this Court dated 28.07.2022 and the requisition letter submitted by the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, shencottah in D.No.3143/2023, Dated 21.07.2023 through the Principal District Judge, Tirunelveli in D.No.A1/13805/2023, dated 26.07.2023 seeking further extension of six months time for disposal of the case in O.S.No.93 of 2018 and O.S.No.
104 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Shenkottai, this Court made the following order:- By an order dated 28/07/2022, this Court disposed of the above C.R.Ps with direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, shenkottai, to dispose the suit within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
2.Thereafter, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Shenkottai, by a letter dated 21.07.2023 bearing reference D.No. 3143/2023, through the 3/5
Principal District Judge, Tirunelveli, to the Registrar(Judicial) of this Court seeking an extension further six months time to dispose of the suit. In the said letter, the learned Judge has given reasons for non-disposal of the suit within the time. 3.Being satisfied with the reasons given by the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Chenkottai, in the above letter, the time for disposing the suit, is extended by another six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
