ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.3 to act upon the petitioner online complaint dated 19.02.2026 in Ref.No.EAZ26070964 within time stipulated by this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged a online complaint as against the fourth respondent, with respect to the 4th respondent's activity of having barged into the petitioners house and had threatened him and his family with dire consequences.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that the petitioner is a person suffering 30% disability and making use of his inability, the 4th respondent is continuously indulging in causing 2/5

harassment to the petitioner and his family and in this regard, only because of his disability, he is not even able to proceed to the third respondent police station and give a complaint in person, for which he had opted the online mode. However, there is no action or response from the third respondent and hence this Writ Petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the matter will be looked into and necessary action will be taken.

5. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

6. In view of the submissions made on either side, the third respondent is directed to issue summons to the petitioner the fourth respondent under Section 64 of BNS, 2023, conduct an enquiry and complete the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation and the third respondent is directed to appraise the process of the investigation to the first respondent on every Friday. 3/5

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
