Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India pleased to issue an order or writ more particularly in the nature of writ of certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 28.5.2020 of 4th respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 7 to refund the amount of Rs.3,63,632/- to the petitioner forthwith which was deposited on 28.12.2019 at 7th respondent Bank ORDER:- This Writ Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru. J. Anandkumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Thiru. V. Anand, Government Advocate on behalf of the respondents 1 to 6 , this Court made the following order:

Challenging the order dated 28.05.2020 passed by the 4th

respondent and for a direction to the respondents 2 to 7 to refund the amount of Rs.3,63,632/- to the petitioner, which was deposited on 28.12.2019 at the 7th respondent bank, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 reported that though several communications have been sent to the 1st respondent / the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, no instruction has been received from him. However, the learned Government Advocate finally seeks two weeks time for getting instructions from the 1st respondent.

3.At his request, post the matter on 23.09.2020 for getting instructions from the 1st respondent. On receipt of such instruction, the learned Government Advocate is directed to submit the same as a report before this Court on or before 22.09.2020. 4.If no instruction is received on that day, the 1st respondent / the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, or the Additional Inspector General of Registration, Chennai is directed to appear before this Court through "Video conferencing" to explain as to why he did not furnish the remarks to the learned Government Advocate.
