O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Kodaikanal to number the Unnumbered Cr.M.P.No. of 2013 under Section 200 of Cr.P.C., 1973 filed by the petitioner and dispose the same on merits.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has filed a private complaint before the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Kodaikanal in the year 2013 and that the said petition has not even been numbered and is pending. Therefore, this Court called for a report from the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Kodaikanal, pursuant to which, he has sent a report dated 04.01.2017, wherein he has stated as follows: "I most humbly and respectfully submits that on 02.01.2017, the application has been called and a Cr.M.P.No.24/2017 is assigned and the case is posted for orders on 09.01.2017.

I most humbly and respectfully prays the Hon'ble High Court may kindly be pleased to accept this report."

3. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. Hence, this petition is closed.
