ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners/A2, A6 to A8, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.08.2018 for the offence under Sections 395 of I.P.C., in crime Nos.157 and 158 of 2018 respectively on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 06.08.2018, the defacto complainant and her relatives were gone Palani temple for attending Dharisanam and at that time, at 01.30 p.m., the petitioners and others were allegedly came and threatened to give the gold chain and since the defacto complainant refused, the accused persons snatched the gold chain of 4 sovereign and 3-1/2 sovereigns respectively.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in these cases and they have nothing to do with the alleged offence.

4.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the properties were recovered from the petitioners and the investigation is almost over and they are yet to file charge sheet. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the period of incarceration by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners in both the cases. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail, subject to the following conditions;

(I) each of the petitioners shall execute bond in both the casesfor a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani;

(ii) the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further order.
