O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.49 of 2016 within a time frame.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the respondent conducted the petition enquiry and closed as 'action dropped' on 20.12.2016.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Since the case was closed on 20.12.2016, and the respondent did not serve the copy of the closure report to the learned counsel for the petitioner, today the same was served across the bar. It is open to the petitioner to take action in accordance with law.
