Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue community certificate to my 5 year old daughter namely Selvi.R.Poornisha, as she belonged to Hindu Adhithiravidar Community.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by T. S. SIVAGNANAM, J., ] The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue community certificate to his 5 years old daughter namely Selvi.R.Poornisha, as she belonged to Hindu Adhithiravidar Community.

2. Heard Mr.S.Muthumalai Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Karthick, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions from the second respondent, submitted that the application for grant of Community Certificate is pending and necessary enquiry will be conducted and orders will be passed at the earliest.

4. The application submitted by the petitioner be considered, necessary enquiry be conducted and orders be passed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
