Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to provide any one of the alternative place out of the following three places namely (1) at Chathiram Bus Stand more fully where the water tank is situated till Kamaraj Statute, (2) City Club Area (3) Yanaikulam area by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 05.03.2021 in the event that the Town Vending Committee is not constituted by the authorities. 3/6

O R D E R

After extensive arguments on either side, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners would be satisfied, if the representation dated 05.03.2021 submitted by them is considered by the respondents and they may be provided with alternate places for street vending.

2. In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is allowed directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 05.03.2021, in case, the Town Vending Committee has not been constituted. In the event of the Town Vending Committee being constituted, the representation of the petitioners dated 05.03.2021 shall be forwarded to the Town Vending Committee and the Authority of the Town Vending Committee shall dispose of 4/6
