Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pass an order to enter all the city buses, plying via the main road, to enter into the Kamaraj bus stand for boarding and alighting the passengers, with depicted name of Kamaraj Bus stand' instead of the name 'Old Bus stand' thereby monitor and regulate by the concerned authorities the same rules in Theni-Allinagaram municipality limits in Theni District.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner has come up with this public interest litigation for the following direction:

To direct the respondent to pass an order to enter all the city buses, plying via the main road, to enter into the Kamaraj bus stand for boarding and alighting the passengers, with depicted name of Kamaraj Bus stand' instead of the name 'Old Bus stand' thereby monitor and regulate by the concerned authorities the same rules in Theni-Allinagaram municipality limits in Theni District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. We have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Whether the bus stand should be known as Kamaraj Bus stand or Old Bus stand, is within the domain of the competent authority to decide and this Court cannot interfere with the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
