The petitioner seeks a limited relief of issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal for correction of the extent for the patta.

2. According to the petitioner, survey was also conducted on 12.07.2024 and the request of the petitioner was found to be genuine. In this regard, the petitioner has already made a representation to the 2nd respondent on 16.08.2024.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. In view of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
