This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and the surveyor at the time of surveying the petitioner's land based on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2016.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the prayer sought for by this petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the necessary parties.
