Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to enroll the petitioner in the General Provident Fund Scheme by cancelling the registration of the petitioner in contributory pension scheme within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the first respondent to enroll the petitioner in the General Provident Fund Scheme by cancelling the registration of the petitioner in contributory pension scheme, within the time stipulated by this Court.

However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.06.2015.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 fairly submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
