PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondent police and their men from not to interfere in civil dispute with regard to the lands in S.Nos.356, 336/1, 332/2, 338/1, 340/1, 332/1, 326/1, 333/2, 326/2, 351/1, 327/3A, 330/2, 342, 329, 330/3, 336/2, 343/2, 343/3, 344/2, 345/5, 345/3, 335/1, 335/3, 346/1, 346/3, 328, 327/4B of Chellappanayakan Patti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District and consequently, direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members on the guise of enquiry. ORDER

According to the petitioner, the petitioner has been harassed at the hands of the respondent police, based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that a case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.449 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 147, 148, 448, 379 and 506(2) IPC. of the First Information Report has also been produced before this Court.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, it is for the petitioner to workout his remedy before the appropriate forum.
