Prayer:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to refund the deposit and withheld amount to the petitioners for the works completed by the petitioners from the year 2005-2013 by considering the representations of the petitioners dated 23.04.2015. For Petitioners : M/s.J.Anandkumar For Respondent : Mr.R.Murali

ORDER

The petitioners have come forward with the Writ Petitions praying for Writs of Mandamus directing the respondent to refund the deposit and withheld amount, to the petitioners herein, for the works completed by them from the year 2005-2013, by considering the representations of the petitioners, dated 23.04.2015.

2. Mr.R.Murali, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, the Writ Petitions themselves are taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it would be suffice if the representations of the petitioners are disposed of, by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent

would submit that the representations of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In such view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in the Writ Petitions, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioners, dated 23.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
