Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 21.5.2012 (Jt.4/2793/12/A1 B2 Section) expeditiously and in accordance with law. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 21.5.2012 (Jt.4/2793/12/A1 B2 Section) in accordance with law.

2. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The case of the petitioner is that he owns certain lands at Eliyarpatti Village, Madurai South. While so, under the guise of power of attorney, one T.S.Palanivelu seemed to have sold the property of the petitioner fradskeathy. Stating all these facts and by relying upon a Circular No.67 of the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, dated 03.11.2011, the petitioner has madu a representation to the respondent on 21.05.2012. However, the representation is pending consideration on the file of the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for the relief stated earlier. 5.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the facts narrated at para No.4 of this order, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.05.2012, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner as well as the interested parties, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
