By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.The petitioner's property was acquired for the purpose of laying road under the provision of Tamil Nadu Highways Act. It is the contention of the petitioner that the land acquisition proceedings were completed and the respondent has not given the compensation to the petitioner.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submits that on 26.06.2020, a communication has been sent to the petitioner asking the petitioner to appear before the Land Acquisition Tahsildar and submits that the respondents will pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

W.P.(MD) No.7238 of 2020 5.According to the respondent, the petitioner has filed all the documents. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all the required documents were filed to substantiate the petitioner's right to claim compensation. He further submits that in any event, the petitioner will file the document before the Land Acquisition Tahsildar. 6.Considering the fact that the respondent, has now issued notice dated 26.06.2020 asking the petitioner to furnish the documents, the petitioner may file his reply to the same within a period of 15 days from its receipt. The learned Government Advocate for the respondent is also directed to forward a scanned copy of the said communication to the heard counsel for the petitioner by 10.07.2020. On such reply being filed by the petitioner, the respondent shall consider and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. 7.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
