This petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned District Judge, Sivagangai to conclude the revision in Crl.R.C.No.18 of 2014 in C.C.No.162 of 2012 within a period that be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner has filed a private complaint under Sections 138 r/w 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The case of the petitioner is that the respondent was convicted in C.C.No.162 of 2012 by the Fast Track Court NO.1, Karaikudi and aggreived over the conviction and sentence, he has preferred an appeal in C.A.No.31 of 2014 before the District Judge, Sivagangai and in that appeal, the petitioner has filed a Criminal Revision Petiton in Crl.R.C.No.18 of 2014 for enhancement of punishment and both cases have been pending for the past two years without any progress, which causes mental agony and mental hardship.

4. Considering the above stated facts, the learned District Judge, Sivagangai is directed to dispose of Crl.R.C. No.18 of 2014 in C.C.No.162 of 2012 within a period of three months from the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
