O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ petition, seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's name to the post of Anganwadi Organizer in the vacant place held at Levenjipuram Anganvadi Center, Vallioor Block, Tirunelveli District under widow category.

2.Mr.R.Anandraj, Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Admittedly, the petitioner is a widow, who has applied for the post of Anganvadi and in the earlier selection process, her candidature has been rejected. The petitioner has come to know that there are vacancies in the above said place for the post of Anganvadi and she has made an application to appoint her for the said post. Mere sending a representation and thereafter, filing a Writ petition to consider the said representation for appointment is not feasible. The respondents have mode of recruitment and in which, the petitioner will have to apply and compete with others in the selection process and get the appointment. By way of filing a Writ petition, seeking the above said prayer, the petitioner is indirectly seeking appointment for the post of Anganvadi in the above said place, which is not maintainable.

4.Hence, I am not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. However, this order will not preclude the petitioner for making an application if there are any advertisement for recruiting Anganvadi post as and when it is called for. 5.The Writ petition is dismissed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.is closed.
