This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai, to expedite the trial in M.C.No.29 of 2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

Having regard to the limited scope of the proceedings pending on the file of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai, this Court is inclined to give a direction to the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai, to dispose of the Maintenance case in M.C.No.29 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
