ORDER
This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to take immediate steps to file charge sheet as against the accused mentioned in the First Information Report registered by the respondent in Crime No.1 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 420, 465, 468 and 471 I.P.C, dated 09.01.2019. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case has been registered on 09.01.2019 and all the materials have been placed before the respondent police, the respondent police has not concluded the investigation so far.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submits that the investigation is almost completed and the respondent police is awaiting for want of records from the Revenue Department and the final report is yet to be filed. 4.Refuting the averments made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all the revenue records have already been submitted by him to the police and therefore, there is no requirement by the respondent police to await for any document from the Revenue Department. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

6.In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The respondent police is directed to file the final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
