This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life an limb.
2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the third respondent police and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.No.206 of 2020 and due to the non appearance of the petitioner, the said enquiry has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.[MD]No.6936 of 2020 been closed by the third respondent. He would further submit that as of now no enquiry/petition is pending against the fourth respondent. Hence, in the absence of any complaint given by the petitioner, the question of giving police protection does not arise.
