This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 20.09.2016 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that petition enquiry was conducted and the petition was closed.

4.In view of the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not furnished already to the petitioner and on receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
