ORDER

Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to issue a separate patta, after due sub-division of Plot no.55 admeasuring 1785 Sq.Ft in R.S.No.13/4 and 13/5A situated at Kovilpappakudi, Madurai North, Madurai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2021, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that it would be suffice if a direction is given to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner and he placed reliance on the decision of this Court in A.Andiyappan Vs. The Revenue Divisional Officer and others reported in 2020 Supreme Mad 758 for this purpose.

5. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents would state that the representation of the petitioner would be considered within a reasonable time.

6. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents, in the light of the facts and circumstances of the case and in the light of the guidelines issued in the decision of A.Andiyappan's case cited supra, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.03.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and issue separate patta within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
