Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to disburse Rs.54 758/- towards the retrenchment compensation gratuity leave salary salary for the notice period staff security deposit with interest and other dues to the petitioner payable to her deceased husband A.Jeyapal within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court based on the representations dated 24.8.11 and 28.5.15 and in the light of the order passed by this Honourable Court in WP(MD).No.6196/11 dated 22.1.14.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is a Writ of Mandamus praying to direct the respondents to disburse Rs.54,758/- towards the retrenchment compensation gratuity leave salary salary for the notice period staff security deposit with interest and other dues to the petitioner payable to her deceased husband A.Jeyapal within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court based on the representations dated 24.8.11 and 28.5.15 and in the light of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD).No.6196/11 dated 22.1.14. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.R.Velmurugan, the learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representations of the petitioner dated 24.08.2011 and 28.05.2015 are disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue involved, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioner, dated 24.08.2011 and 28.05.2015, if not already disposed of, and pass appropriate orders on the same and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
