ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records in D.V.C.No.6 of 2016, filed under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners are in-laws of the respondent. Since the allegations have been made against these petitioners also, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in D.V.C.No.6 of 2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi.

4. In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the appearance of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with and they are directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi, as and when their presence is required.
