ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his property in survey Nos.585/22 and 585/38, situated at Keeranoor Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering his representation, dated 18.102019.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property mentioned above in respect of which, he has filed a civil suit in O.S.No.79 of 2016 before the District Munsif, Keeranoor, Pudukkottai District. Pending the said suit, the third respondent herein filed a petition to implead himself as a party, but he has no 1/3

right. After the elaborate trial, the suit was decreed in favour of the petitioner. Apprehending threat, the petitioner gave a representation on 18.10.2019. During the course of enquiry, the third respondent made an undertaking that he will not disturb the possession of the petitioner, but inspite of that he is making trouble and life threat.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation is of the year 2019 and that was closed and therefore, there is no question of considering the same once again.

5.Considering this fact, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the trouble still exists. On such representation being made, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, by considering the urgency and summoning the private respondents. 6.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
