ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 19.03.2025 seeking to modify the condition in Crl.M.P.No.509 of 2025 dated 05.03.2025 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Theni. 1/3

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's mother is aged about 72 years and the petitioner is the only person to take care of his mother. Hence he submits that the petitioner is facing difficulty to stay at Ariyalur and appear before Ariyalur Police Station at 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m.

3. It is stated that the petitioner has been complying with the condition 4 (iii) imposed in the pre-arrest bail order dated 05.03.2025 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Theni in Cr.M.P.No.509 of 2025 from 02.04.2025 to 06.04.2025. In view of the substantial compliance, this Court is inclined to modify the condition 4 (iii) of the pre-arrest bail order dated 05.03.2025 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Theni in Cr.M.P.No.509 of 2025 as 'the petitioner shall appear and report before the respondent-Police weekly once i.e., on every Monday at 10.00 a.m., until further orders'.

4. To the above extent this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. The other conditions shall hold good.
