This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and her family members on the basis of enquiry. 2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's son viz., Sabari @ Prameswaran was involved in various criminal cases on the file of the Avaniyapuram Police Station and subsequently, he was arrested on 24.06.2018 near Keelmadurai Railway Station, Madurai City and remanded into judicial custody and therefore, there is no question of harassment against the petitioner by second respondent police. The contentions of the petitioner are not correct and therefore, the Criminal Original Petition is liable to be dismissed. 3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
