Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal Petition No.7385 of 2013 filed by the Petitioner's husband within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. For petitioner :

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal Petition No.7385 of 2013 filed by the Petitioner's husband within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent.
3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the Appeal Petition of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the first respondent is directed to consider the Appeal Petition No.7385 of 2013 of the petitioner, dated 15.10.2013 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
