Respondents/Complainant PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st respondent to withdraw and transfer the investigation in connection with Crime No. 248 of 2016, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thirumangalam Taluk Police Station, Madurai District to any other police station as fit and convenient to conduct proper unbiased and effective investigation forthwith.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation.
2. On perusal of records, the petitioner herein is the sole accused in Crime No. 248 of 2016, on the file of the 2nd respondent police. Since the petitioner being the accused, he cannot seek for transfer of investigation from the 2nd respondent police to any other investigating agency, in absence of any substantial allegation against the investigating officer, transfer of investigation cannot be ordered based on vague allegations. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
