This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2016 and 11.11.2016. O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representations.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.Vinayak, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father was murdered in the year 2012 for which a case in Crime No.75 of 2012 was registered for the offence under Sections 302 r/w 294(b) IPC. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having life threat, so he gave representations to the respondents on 29.01.2016, 06.04.2016, 16.08.2016, 26.09.2016 and 11.11.2016,however,so far,they have not been considered by respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate would fairly admit that the respondents have received the representations and they are ready to consider the same.

5. In view of the above submission, this criminal original petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
