This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to dispose of the above case in C.C.No.240 of 2011 pending on his file within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to dispose of the case in C.C.No.240 of 2011 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the complaint of the petitioner's father, case in Crime No.28 of 2009 was registered against the accused under Sections 120(b), 467, 468 and 420 IPC. It is further submitted that though the final report was filed and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.240 of 2011 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate NO.1, Madurai, so far there is no progress and the accused have been deliberately prolonging the litigation which causes harship and inconvenience to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that summons has been issued for appearance of the accused on 22.12.2016 and if any direction is given, they are ready to complete the trial within a stipulated period.

5. Considering the above facts, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.240 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
