6.V.Kailasam : Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to issue suitable directions to the 6th respondent to conduct the Temple Festival more fully cutting of goats without discrimination of Caste and Creed on 29.03.2023 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.03.2023.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J) This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to issue suitable directions to the 6th respondent to conduct the Temple Festival more fully cutting of goats without discrimination of Caste and Creed on 29.03.2023 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.03.2023. 2.Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the festival is now going on and there was no complaint of any caste discrimination so far. He would add that the main poojari of the temple belongs to Schedule Caste Community and he is accepted all the community people in the village. He would therefore, submit that the apprehension of the petitioner that there will be some kind of caste discrimination, is without any basis.

3.In view of the above statement made, we do not see any necessity to issue a Mandamus as prayed for. Hence, this writ petition fails and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
