The Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 07.11.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions would submit that the respondent police would give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioner.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the first respondent is directed to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation of the petitioner, dated 07.11.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and to give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
