ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records in Crime No. 1/4

44 of 2018 on the file of 1st respondent police and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioners, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.44 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 384, 506(2) IPC r/w. Section 19A of Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994. The grievance of the petitioners is that even after the lapse of four years investigation has not been completed.

3. Considering the nature of offence involved, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
