For Respondent : Mr.S.Chandrasekar, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 125 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 306 of IPC seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The petitioner herein is the mother-in-law of the deceased Saraswathi. The said Saraswathi has committed suicide by self immolation. The Revenue Divisional Enquiry indicates the harassment metted by the deceased at the hands of the petitioner herein. It appears that the petitioner and the deceased were living under one roof . The husband of the deceased who is the son of the petitioner herein is living abroad. The petitioner herein abused the deceased about her character. Hence case under Section 174 Cr.P.C has been altered to Section 306 of IPC.

3. Considering the nature of offence, this Court finds that it is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Hence this petition stands dismissed.
