ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.2552 of 2016 and to file charge sheet within a time frame.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner represents that the petitioner lodged a complaint and a case has been registered on 21.10.2016 in Crime No. 2552 of 2016, for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468 and 471 of IPC. Since there is no progress in the investigation, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the investigation is almost over and the respondent police seeks some time to file the final report.
5.Considering the date of registration of the case and the nature of offences, this Court issues the following directions:- "The respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.2552 of 2016, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
