O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor/Respondent herein for the willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.723 of 2021, dated 21.01.2021.

2.This Court, by an order, dated 21.01.2021 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.723 of 2021 directed the second respondent police to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Cr.No.221 of 2020 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that as directed by this Court, the respondent police has completed the investigation in Cr.No.221 of 2020 and the same was closed as 'Further Action Dropped' on 08.03.2021 and also filed a final report before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tenkasi. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
