ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 as well as Mr.M.Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent represented that the petitioner had not filed an application as required under the Arms Act, 1959. They stated that the representation that was given on 01.03.2025 was not accompanied with the prescribed fee. Hence, the application itself was returned on 26.03.2025.

2. Mr.S.Sivakumar states that his client will file an appropriate application together with fee.

3. As the application has been returned on 26.03.2025, mandamus sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Granting liberty to the 2/4

petitioner to move an application as required, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
