Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.

3.The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal Petition No.837 of 2018, dated 25.01.2018. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. 5.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has already filed written arguments in the Appeal Petition, pending before the first respondent.

6.Considering the limited scope of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, I direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal Petition No.837 of 2018, dated 25.01.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by giving personal opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
