This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on account of the complaint given by the first petitioner's daugtherin-law, the case was registered in Crime No.3 of 2017 under Sections 498(A) and 506(i) of I.P.C. Though the petitioners are not the accused in the First Information Report, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent is unnecessarily harassing the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) on instructions submitted that there is no harassment and the case

was registered only against the first petitioner's son. Even if the presence of the petitioners is required for any enquiry, it shall be done only after issuing summons. The petitioners will not be unnecessarily called for the enquiry, if they are not the accused, as per the enquiry.
